Export all company data: repairs, documents, customers and receipts in a ZIP archive

With "Your data" an administrator downloads all company data in a single ZIP archive: repairs, PDF documents and e-invoice XML files, receipts, customers, shops and employees, with repair photos if needed.

Your business data belongs to you. With the Fixh IT Your data feature an administrator can download at any time a ZIP archive with all company data: repairs, PDF documents (and XML for e-invoices), receipts, customers, shops and employees. It is useful as a personal backup, to give data to your accountant or to always have the full history at hand.

Why it matters for a repair shop

Choosing cloud management software means entrusting it with years of work. Being able to export everything with one click, in readable formats, guarantees you will never be locked in: you know that the repair history, tax documents and customer directory can always be recovered, even outside the platform.

In practice

The feature is in Company settings, in the Your data section, and is reserved for company administrators. When you request the export, the software prepares the archive in the background: it can take from a few minutes to an hour, and you can close the page in the meantime. When it is ready you receive a notification and an email; the archive stays downloadable for 7 days.

You can choose to include repair photos too, knowing that the archive becomes much larger. For security, passwords, tokens and secret keys are excluded from the export, including customers' device PINs and passwords. The same section lists recent exports with their status.

Quick guide

  1. Open Administration > Company > Company settings.
  2. Go to the Your data section.
  3. Decide whether to include repair photos.
  4. Click Export all data and confirm.
  5. Wait for the archive-ready notification or email.
  6. Go back to the section and download the ZIP within 7 days.

Real use cases

An owner downloads the full archive at the end of the year and keeps it on an external drive as a personal copy.

The accountant asks for all the year's e-invoice PDFs and XML files: the company finds them ready in the archive.

A company closing a shop exports the data before reorganising, to keep a complete history.

Tips and best practices

Export periodically, for example at the end of the tax year. Include photos only when you really need them, to keep the archive light. Keep the ZIP in a protected place: it contains your customers' personal data. For consent management see privacy and marketing consents.

Common mistakes to avoid

Do not let the link expire: after 7 days the archive can no longer be downloaded and must be requested again. Do not start a second export while the first is being prepared: the software prevents it.
